Kenton Rowe spent his early years exploring the prairies of central Nebraska, becoming intimately familiar with the sounds and behaviors of the fauna that live there. His exploration took on a more adventuress note, when he spent short stints in south Texas, Belize, then ultimately he and his family moved to Ecuador where he immersed himself in the culture, and natural history of the Northern Ande’s and the upper Amazon basin. Kenton holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Nebraska.
Kenton first picked up a camera in 2000, and quickly found it suited him well to document and communicate his love for nature and culture. Though he did not initially consider photography as an occupation it dovetailed well with his interests and abilities and evolved into a business. His work first began to appear in regional magazines in 2008, and over the last five years his assignment have taken him throughout essentially all of Montana, much of the US, and as far as Zimbabwe.
Kenton has a passion for connecting people, especially kids, with nature and the outdoors. In 2009, his image entitled “Proud Mama” placed second in National Wildlife Federation’s international photo contest from among 70,000 entries. His work has appeared in publications worldwide from National Geographic, Nature Conservancy, and National Wildlife to the Wall Street Journal. He teaches photography workshops for a variety of nature related organizations and private resorts, and is now offering international photo workshops with Wildside Nature Tours. Through photography he enjoys opening a window to the world that he sees and help others to appreciate, protect, and hopefully even find their passion in it too.
Kenton and his wife Karen live in Helena, Montana with their two children, Auston and Andreanna.
We use expert, high-definition low-altitude videography and a host of other tools to tell your story, whether you are selling a premiere ranch or building a skyscraper, producing a rock concert or climbing a sheer rock cliff, test-driving a high-performance sports car or setting out on the journey of your lifetime. We have full-service production capabilities and a top-flight crew with expertise in editing, script development and a host of techniques, such as 3D Integrations and Geospatial Tours, that give added dimension to our work.
Our Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are equipped with the latest hardware, including HD video cameras, gyro-stabilized gimbal camera mounting systems, and progressive software applications to get the shots and footage that full-sized helicopters and aircrafts cannot. A real-time video downlink allows our clients to view the camera’s live point of view (POV) and experience the excitement of being “under the goggles.”
While we specialize in premiere ranch and real estate presentations, action-adventure and coverage of large-venue events, such as concerts and stadium sports, we are equally adept at filming weddings and other intimate gatherings. We also shoot specialty footage for film and television production companies.
Based in Denver, Colorado, we’ve been wheels up since 2007 and are available for assignments worldwide.
We are a Father–Son Partnership that is dedicated to capturing the West in ranch and farm properties for real estate. We found our place in filming these properties and love it because we ourselves have farmed and ranched our whole lives. Having an agricultural background has been a huge benefit because we identify with and connect to ranchers and farmers. We know where to be when filming - whether we are filming animals and livestock, agricultural operations, improvements or luxury homes, or people and lifestyle shots.
We have been blessed to do work for resort lodges, bed and breakfasts, sub-contacted with NASA to locate lost balloons, locate cattle, as well as fly thousands of acres for farms and ranches to detect water, fertility and pest issues. Give us a call if we can be of service to you in selling your ranch or farm.
