A 916,000-acre cattle ranch in Wyoming—complete with a nine-bedroom lodge—hit the market Wednesday for $79.5 million. Pathfinder Ranches, located about 200 miles northwest of Cheyenne in Alcova, Wyoming, is “one of few remaining large cattle operations in the American West,” Ryan Lance, president of Pathfinder Ranches, said in a statement. “But more than that, Pathfinder represents a piece of our country’s pioneering spirit, productive and thoughtfully managed land, and a chance to make a real contribution to both modern ranching practices and conservation.”
