I grew up on my family’s cattle ranch in the Ruby Valley in southwest Montana, where I developed a deep love of the land and a way of life that requires hard work. These experiences have influenced every aspect of my life, both personally and professionally, guiding me through multiple career paths that have provided invaluable experience and laid the groundwork for my career with Swan Land Company. With 10 years of experience as a dam tender at Ruby Reservoir and five years as a licensed water well driller, I have gained extensive knowledge of water rights and the intricacies of water transfers. This perspective has allowed me to evaluate the impact of water rights on property value, recreation, and agriculture.

My dedication to conservation and love of the outdoors led me to become a licensed outfitter. My Wife and I operate RW Outdoors, an outdoor retail store in Sheridan, MT, and Treed Up Outfitters. An outfitting business that has had the privilege of guiding the last two Montana Governor moose permits. This background has given me a deep understanding of game animals and their sustainable management, as well as the recreational hunting potential of a property. As the Region 3 Director for Montana Outfitters and Guide Association, I also have valuable insight into the legislation and regulations that impact the licensing for resident and nonresident clients. To me, real estate is more than just making a sale; it’s about providing an exceptional client experience. I am committed to finding the right property for the right people and making that transition seamless. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Missy, and chasing our five children, chickens, and dogs around our small homestead. You can also find me on a boat or cheering on my kids at their sporting events. And because our marketing team finds it amusing, I will mention that as a young man, I had the honor of traveling and competing with the USA Shooting Team, earning two world championship silver medals.
