Jack McInerney

I grew up on the Fairfield Bench in north central Montana, near the Rocky Mountain Front. I was fortunate to have older brothers and good friends to share many adventures hunting game birds and waterfowl close to home, and deer and elk across the Rocky Mountain Front. I caught the elk bug early and bad, and to this day, I’m always after elk and have a passion for creating and improving wildlife habitats.

My career began as a self-employed farmer for 8 years. I then spent nearly 26 years in financial services, including 12 years as an Investment Representative with Edward D. Jones Investments and 17 years with D. A. Davidson as a Vice President and Financial Consultant. In 2012, I decided to transition into the ranch brokerage business, where my unique personal and professional background perfectly positions me to provide exceptional service to buyers and sellers. This career unifies many of my personal and professional passions. I have been licensed since 2011, primarily focusing on complex transactions for recreational farms and ranches. Additionally, I have a competitive background in Timber and Minerals. It is a privilege to assist both buyers and sellers in navigating their transactions and reaching their goals.

Our ranch in the Little Belts is our quiet place. We continually manage the property using timely cattle grazing and hay production as tools to enhance wildlife. Most of my time is spent near my wife Alice, our three strong, confident daughters, and their growing families. Whatever activity they are currently doing, we want to be there! You can find us chasing grandbabies, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing whenever possible.

And just throwing this out there—I am a GRIZ! After graduating high school, I attended Montana State before heading over the mountains to Missoula for a business degree at the University of Montana, the epicenter of all great learning. As the youngest of six and the only Griz, we have fun with the rivalry.
