Land has always been a passion for me as long as I can remember. I think back to my beginnings, where we learned to enjoy the satisfaction in a hard day’s work, the feeling of responsibility as we cared for livestock through blizzard and drought, and the reward in finding practical solutions to day-to-day problems. In retrospect, I now realize I was one of the fortunate ones who was born into a lifestyle of fresh air, freedom, and a recipient of the revenues of enjoyment that land brings to us.

After obtaining a BS degree in Business Finance from the University of Wyoming, I began a career in land management. Small successes lead to larger opportunities, and I was soon managing six large and diverse ranches, working under some of the brightest executives in the business world. Learning from and operating with these mentors provided me with some of the most valuable experiences in my developing career. By nature, I take a detailed and organized approach to life. This has helped me serve clients through complex transaction timelines, managing the nuances of each unique situation while keeping clients informed through effective communication to arrive at a successful closing.

Our culture at Swan Land Company is what truly sets us apart. Each broker has a unique background and brings a distinct set of skills, while collaboration is embraced. My foundation in agriculture, business-based education, and experience in land management continues to help me advance my client’s interests and help them achieve their goals. I am pleased that many clients become long-time friends that share their experiences with me as they find satisfaction in their ownership of the land.
